Native Americans were reknowned for using every part of the buffalo. Skins became blankets, shelters and clothing. Bones became alternatives to hardwoods. Meat was eaten, not only fresh, but was smoked and dried into jerky or pemican for winter and travel use. At Spomer Bison Ranch, we too try to honor these animals by using every part. We are proud to carry not only the finest buffalo meats from our own herd, but also various other useful and artistic products made from buffalo skulls and hides.
