Shadowcaster Info Last updated January '99 Background: Shadowcaster is an online, interactive environment, used as a meeting place for playing the Amber DRPG. Each game, while seperate, presents the potential for crossover, making it an interwoven, shared world. Current Shadowcaster Gamemasters: The current gamemaster is Krinac. Krinac's game is seperate from the previous ShadowCaster games, but still uses the majority of the ShadowCaster rules variations made to the Amber DRPG. Rule Modifications And Other Guidelines: The organizer and site administrator for the ShadowCaster shared environment is Render. He has put forth fairly extensive alterations to the base DRPG rules, which have been modified further by Kestrel. Powers Available to PC's Based on material contributed by all the ShadowCaster gamemasters, Render has written a list of guidelines. All those using the ShadowCaster site are expected to follow these guidelines for play. Failure to do so can result in expulsion from ShadowCaster. Current Campaigns: The current campaign is Shards (run by Krinac). Information about Shards is on a seperate website, which can be reached via the link below. Shards Former Campaigns: The flagship game for ShadowCaster, the Black Spiral, has recently ended. It lasted from Fall of '95 to the Spring of '98. Kestrel's game, Riders on the Storm, finished in the Summer of '98. These two games were interlinked, with crossovers occurring between the two game universes.
