Spells (4/7/7/14/6/6/5/5/4/5): Erakis has a wide selection of spells, but favors Abjuration, Conjuration, and Evocation magics. He has multiple quickened spells, including shield and mirror image. His spellbooks contain most spells known on Toril, including a few rare spells learned from his former mentor, Khelbin "Blackstaff" Arunsun.
Magic Items: Staff of Power, Robe of the Archmagi (gray), Cloak of Displacement (major), Amulet of the Planes, Headband of Intellect +6, Ring of Protection +4, Ring of Wizardry III, Metamagic Rod (Silent), Daern's Instant Fortress, Portable Hole, 3 Mystra's Blessed Books, plus a variety of charged magic items (scrolls, wands, etc). As a powerful wizard with most of the item creation feats, Erakis has access to incredible resources and can make or acquire almost any nonartifact item he might need, given time.
Notes: Stats include the following inherent bonuses (gained from wish spells) - Intelligence +5, Constitution +2. He has also used permanency to make the following spells permanent - arcane sight, darkvision, tongues. Erakis also has the following spells on him at all times - contingency (stoneskin), elminister's evasion (protection from evil and heal, the latter cast via a scroll and Use Magic Device).
Tactics: Erakis prefers to avoid combat unless absolutely necessary. If forced into a fight without the opportunity to prepare, he uses time stop at his first opportunity to cast defensive magics. His favorite attack spells are temporal stasis (used with the archmage ability of arcane reach), delayed blast fireball, and chain lightning. Erakis keeps both limited wish and wish memorized, ensuring that he can get out of almost any situation with a single spell.

Character Background:
A former apprentice of Khelben "Blackstaff" Arunsun, Erakis spent many years seeking knowledge and power. For a time, it seemed that he would tread down a dark path...until he met Mirabelle D'Varil. The two adventured together for nearly a decade before deciding to marry. Erakis founded the village of Woodhill so he would be able to support a family, well away from the intrigues of the Realms.

Tragedy struck a year later, when Mirabelle died as a result of complications from Julianne's birth. Erakis prepared to teleport to Waterdeep to have her brought back to life, when an old enemy chose to attack. Erakis emerged triumphant, but Mirabelle's body was disintegrated by his foe as a final strike against him. Erakis left Julianne in the care of a priestess of Azuth for the first six months of her life, seeking the power of a wish spell to bring Mirabelle back. When he finally mastered the spell, he was astonished to find that even that powerful magic was insufficient.

Unknown to Erakis, the wish had worked, but not as he had intended. In his grief, he spoke hastily. Mirabelle's ghostly form was brought back to care for Julianne. The wish took away Erakis' grief, and gave him a blind spot where Mirabelle was concerned. He knew Julianne was being watched over, but unconsciously avoided the subject of who was Julianne's caregiver. Julianne grew up unaware that her mother was a ghost, only seeing a caring mother watching over her. Gradually, as Julianne became able to take care of herself, Mirabelle faded away. Though she is still in Woodhill, Mirabelle rarely manifests anymore, and is content to watch over her husband and child.
