Character Background:
Constructed for the sole purpose of service during the Last War, Pummel had great difficulty adjusting to civilian
life following the war's end.
It wandered from town to town, seeking enlightenment. During its travels, it came upon an old man whose cart had
broken a wheel. Pummel lifted the cart with ease, so that the man could fix the wheel. The man looked upon the
Warforged with kind eyes and asked how he could repay its kindness. The concept of a reward was foreign to it,
for it had only ever known service.
It replied, "I am a wanderer looking for a place to call home."
The old man introduced himself as Lyon MacBaine. He did not know what `home' he could provide, but he had a room
he could offer the helpful Warforged. The old man gave a roof over his head, and taught the troubled Warforged
some simple meditations. Over time, Pummel became the old man's helping hand, his student, his bodyguard, and most
importantly, his family. Pummel became the child he never had, or even knew he wanted.
After 2 years, age caught up with Lyon, and he succumbed to illness. As a respectful gesture, Pummel added the
MacBaine name to his own, then began wandering again.
Shortly thereafter, Pummel MacBaine came across Daisy Cutter, who had been presumed lost in the Last War. Daisy
had no recollection of its past, or of Pummel, who tried to fill some of the gaps in the damaged Warforged's memory.
Together, they set off for the approaching meeting in Sharn.
