Machine Trapunto - Supply List Sewing machine in good working order (bring instruction manual if in any doubt) Darning Foot New size 70 and/or 80/12 Denim Jeans (I will have these in class for purchase if you have trouble finding them!) About 1/2 yard plain calico (any colour just no print!) will be cut into eight 8" squares Water soluble pen for marking 2 sheets of plain paper Pencil 2 pairs of scissors (one pair with rounded tip if possible) 12" X 36" cotton wadding (actually will use 4 eight inch squares) 12" X 36" of the fattest batting you can find (4 eight inch squares) Neutral or white coloured sewing thread Water soluble thread - "Wash-A-Way" (I will bring some in case you have trouble finding it!) May I suggest that several of you get together and buy one wadding of each type necessary and then cut it apart to share. If the class is being held in a shop perhaps the shopkeeper will be willing to arrange this for you.
